Scholes is a village just outside Holmfirth in the Holme Valley near Huddersfield. It has a junior and infant school, playgroup, chapel, post office/shop, pub, 2 hairdressers and a fish and chip shop. It is right on the edge of beautiful countryside and there are some wonderful walks from the village. The town of Holmfirth is a short bus ride or decent walk down the hill.
